Word 2007 ships with many predefined watermarks that you can add to your document without any further formatting. For instance, should you like to have the DRAFT watermark on your documents before you finalize them, you can do it very easily without any further formatting.
Follow the steps below to learn how to add watermarks to your Word 2007 documents:
- Click the Page Layout tab.
- In the Page Background group, click the Watermark command.
- Select Draft 1 under Disclaimers.
If you would prefer to create your own watermark, you can do that as well. Suppose you have made all your edits and would like to send a final copy to your colleagues, showing the edits.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Click the Page Layout tab.
- In the Page Background group, click the Watermark Command.
- Click Remove Watermark to remove the Draft 1 watermark.
- In the Page Background group, click the Watermark command.
- Click Custom Watermark.
- Select Text and replace ASAP with Final Showing Markup.
- Click Apply.
- Click Close.
