Spring has finally sprung in my neck of the woods, regardless of what the weather forecasters say. The peepers are singing and my tulips, daffodils, lilies of the valley, and hyacinths are all above ground and some are already in bloom. Oh happy day! Soon it will be warm out and I can take my exercise outside and on the trail. Sure I have a treadmill but I would absolutely rather be outside. It just puts me in a better frame of mind. Seems like things in the world keep getting worse and worse and I for one need a little nature to keep me on an even keel.
In the meantime I am keeping busy sewing, embroidering and knitting and of course writing articles for my newsletter and Dave’s Computer Tips, etc.
Please let me know if there is anything specific that you would like me to cover and I will do my bests to accommodate you.
Until next time, please look in on your neighbors and loved ones. Just keep in touch to let them know you care and that you are ok too. It is surprising how such a simple thing can change a person’s outlook. I recently mailed an embroidered heart to an elderly person just to let her know I was thinking of her and she called me as soon as she received it. She told me it had made her day. Please keep that in mind. You never know what just a simple smile, letter of call can do for someone.
