Well, again, the seasons are changing. Schools are open, both in person and virtually and the leaves are falling. I have bought lots of new clothing for back to school for my granddaughters – doesn’t matter to them that they are home – they still expect mom mom to do that for them and so I obliged. It helps that I love spoiling them!
I, like so many other, am mostly stuck in my home nowadays. Luckily, I have my sewing, embroidery and knitting to keep me busy. I have done a lot of reading as well. This is not easy for me. I am a people person. But, I will stay the course and hopefully by the end of next year things will be back to normal and I can start pursuing interests outside of my home!
Hang in there folks – it will get better. While you’re waiting for that to happen, try to do good deeds for others. You will be amazed at how good it makes you feel. Call friends and family and make them feel like they are in the loop. Most likely they are just as bored and lonely as you are.
