I trust you all had a fun Halloween! We just celebrated Veteran’s Day here. This is a day where we remember and thank all our service men and women for the great sacrifices they make on our behalf. God bless them, each and every one!
I have now finished two baby blankets, sweaters, several hats and numerous pairs of booties, and am currently working on another baby blanket. The next time you hear from me I should have two brand new grandbabies! My daughter is due any time now and so is my daughter-in-law! We are having one of each again and I will then have four grandchildren. Its such fun and I love every single minute of it!
I have received nothing but positive comments about the new layout and the articles. Thank you all so much for your kind and informative comments. Please know that I am always receptive to constructive criticism.
Fairly soon we will be celebrating Thanksgiving here. It’s really kind of annoying that every store has their Christmas tree set up and Christmas carols playing before Thanksgiving has arrived. Heck, some of them had it all out even before Halloween! I hope that you are all enjoying the Fall weather. The leaves are beautiful and there is a briskness to the air in the morning. As a matter of fact it was downright cold when I walked outside this morning. I have heard that we are supposed to have a hard winter this year. I am not looking forward to that but I suspect we will get through it.
Try to keep focused on the tasks at hand and do not forget to keep active! Use it or lose it!
Also don’t forget to show kindness to others, especially to folks who have no one else to do that for them. You will feel so good as a result and that person most likely will never forget you because of it.
Until next time…
