If you tend to use the same formatting for your text boxes, why reinvent the wheel every time you need one? Perhaps you were not aware that you could create it once and then save it as your default? If that is the case, you are in luck today!
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Right-click your text box border and select Format Shape. Another method is to click on your text box and Under Drawing Tools go to Form and do your formatting there.
Once you have your text box formatted exactly the way you like, you simply right-click your text box and click Set as Default Text Box.
Now every time you insert a text box in your document it will reflect the formatting you just set as your default!
