It has been a lovely summer thus far. I have had lunch with friends I have not seen in a very long time and have enjoyed the wildlife surrounding my home as well as the beautiful flowers, went on a week long vacation with my daughter and her family and had oodles of fun. On the flip side I have also spent some time this summer visiting terminally ill people. It is all a part of life and I will not complain. Most of my summer has been lovely for me and I hope the same can be said of you.
It will not be long and all the children will be back to school and Fall will be upon us so I will enjoy what remains of summer, one of my favorite seasons of the year.
Please remember to look in on your neighbors and friends and be sure they are ok and please put a smile on your face for everyone you see, especially the ones you are not terribly fond of. We never know what is going on in someone else’s life and your smile could be the best thing that happens to that person all day. I know I sound like a broken record but it is true and we need more kindness and love in this old world.
I hope you enjoy the newsletter. Until next time, take care.
