Wow! The summer is just flying past me! Is it just me or is your summer flying past you as well? I have been busy but I still want to enjoy my summer. That, of course, means that I need some down time and that is exactly what I am going to be doing in August. To that end, there will be no newsletter for the month of August. But please feel free to log in and surf all the past articles. Consider it a refresher course!
I have been writing articles, knitting for my grands, working and teaching – busy, busy, busy!!
I hope you have all been enjoying a lovely summer and good health. Before you know it, school will be starting again and Fall will be lurking just around the corner.
Until next time, take care of you and be kind to each other…
Hi Carol, My subscription is not current. I am having a problem I hope you can help me with. It involves the program Excel.
I am wondering if I am using the term “auto populate correctly. The following paragraph is an attempt to clarify my understand of an Excel program capability.
If a person has, for example, 16 columns in a worksheet, 8 of the columns for a row are used for data entry and 8 columns depend on the data for formula computing. If the 16 cell in a given row are blank and data is entered in the data entry cells for the row, should the other 8 cells are computed through some Excel program capability and display the results in the 8 remaining cells using formulas in previous rows.
Is this called auto populate. If I am using the wrong term, let me know. Maybe the problem needs to be described differently.
Thank you in advance for the help.
