Don’t get me wrong, I like Windows 10. Having said that, it changed several things that some users may have grown to rely upon. If you are one of those who miss the My Computer icon on your desktop, I have a way to bring that back for you!
This tip does not just make it easier to see the drive level of your PC. It also will allow you to bring other icons back that you were used to having and were comfortable with.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Right-click on your Desktop and select Personalize.
- Click Themes.
- Click Go to desktop icon settings.
- Select the box next to Computer. You can also check the boxes for Control Panel, Network, and User’s Files to bring those to your desktop.
- Click Apply.
- Click OK.
- Right-click on This PC.
- Select Rename.
- Key in the words My Computer.
- Click Enter.
That’s all there is to it and now you have it your way!
