There have been times when you have received a document from an outside source and you are asked to format the document using certain specifications. One of the first things you may want to take care of is to remove all tab stops in the document, returning all pragraphs to the default state where all tab stops are set to 0.5″.
There is a very quick and easy way to perform this task and you all know that I am all over less keystrokes and saved time.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Click on Ctrl + A to select your entire document.
- On the Home tab of the Ribbon, click the small icon at the bottom-right of the Paragraph group then the Tabs button.
- Click on the Clear All button.
- Click on OK.
You can now quickly and easily go through your document and set your tabs on a paragraph-by-by-paragraph basis.
