A lot of folks are not aware that you can create additional calendars, separate and apart from your work calendar in Outlook 2010. You could create a personal calendar if you like or any other sort for that matter,
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- In your Calendar on the Folder tab, in the New group, click New Calendar.
- If you happen to be in Mail, Contacts, Tasks, Journal, or Notes, click in the Folder tab in the New group and click New Folder. In the Folder Contains list, click Calendar Items.
- In the Name area, key in a name for your new calendar.
- In the Select where to place the folder list, click Calendar.
- Click OK.
Your new calendar will appear in the Calendar Navigation Pane.
To view your calendar, select the check box for for the calendar.
When multiple check boxes have been selected, the calendars will appear in a side-by-side view and can be changed to the calendar overlay view.
To delete a calendar, simply right-click the calendar name in your Navigation Pane and click Delete.
