I have written about my cat, Ms. Kitty before, specifically about how very sick she became after a Distemper shot she received.
This is just an update to let you know that she is seemingly doing well. She has caught a mouse and enjoyed playing with it with great relish to my dismay, which is a sure sign that she is feeling well. She is very bright and playful nowadays and I am hoping that she will remain that way!
I thought you might like to see Ms. Kitty since I have been writing about her. She really is a cutie. She is four years old. One day she just showed up and wouldn’t leave. She lived on the porch all summer and when Fall came around she started crying to come inside and I didn’t have the heart to leave her outside in the winter so off to the Vet I took her and I did try to find her owners but could not. I am quite certain that she used to be someone’s pet as she had been well cared for and spayed. I hate to think that anyone just left her along side the road one day and prefer to think that she just got lost somehow. She was afraid of shoes at first which made me think that someone must have kicked her sometime in her past. There really are some dreadful folks in this world.
Ms. Kitty has been a lovely houseguest and has not destroyed anything even though we have never had her declawed. She has killed many mice and even a baby snake inside the house! She is definitely my hero now!
Anyway, I thought I would post her picture so you could see her.
Didn’t I tell you she was a cutie?
