Someone wrote to me recently very upset about the fact that her tabs were no longer set to a half inch in WordPerfect. It was driving her nuts and she wanted her half inch tabs back again.
Luckily, I had a resolution for her and she didn’t go mad!
There are two ways to accomplish this task:
- From the Menu bar, click on Format | Line Tab Set | Default | OK.
- From the Ruler, click just below the gray horizontal line just below the Ruler and select Default Tab Setting.
To restore all tab settings in your document to the default half inch tab setting, click on Edit | Select All or use the shortcut CTRL + A to select the entire document before following the above directions.
Thank goodness this was an easy fix and the poor woman could settle down!
