Don’t you just hate it when you inherit a document that has some wonky formatting?
Luckily, Word provides an easy way to remove any explicit character formatting that was done to a group of characters.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Select the text from which you would like the formatting removed.
- Click Ctrl + Space Bar.
The character formatting for those selected characters will now be set back to its default condition, which means the characters will take on the default attributes associated with the paragraph’s style.
