We use Macros in Word to process large amounts of text in one way or another. If you are using macros to do just that, you may want part of that to include setting the left indent for your paragraph.
If you are using VBA (Visual Basic Programming), yo can use the LeftIndent property to set this value. See below:
Selection.Paragraphs.LeftIndent = 72
The LeftIndent property is always applied to a paragraph object, which means you can apply it to either a single paragraph or a range of paragraphs. The left indent shown in the example above is set to 72 points, which is equivalent to one inch.
You must always specify the indent in points.
