I don’t know about you but when I have my print settings just the way I want them, I would like to quickly and easily do them the same way in another worksheet.
Now I don’t know if you are aware of this but when you make a copy of a worksheet by depressing the CTRL key and dragging the sheet tab, the print settings are copied as well. BUT, I always thought that if you wanted to copy just the Print Settings, there was no way to do that.
Turns out I was wrong! Not the first time and I assure you, it will not be the last! There is a quick and easy way to accomplish this task!
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- Select the Tab of the sheet whose print settings you would like to copy.
- Depress your CTRL key and click each sheet tab you would like to copy your Print Settings to.
- From the Page Layout tab of your Ribbon, click Print Titles, which will open the Page Setup dialog.
- Now, click OK or tap Enter.
There is one caveat: Make sure to right-click any sheet tab and Ungroup your sheets. If you do not, you could create a real snafu as whatever you do to one sheet will be replicated in all the grouped sheets.
