Many times we use color in our Excel worksheets to bring them more easily to the viewer’s attention. We want to make certain data stand out for various reasons.
The problem lies in when we print these worksheets. If you have a color printer, it will use up your expensive color and if you do not have a color printer, it will use up your black ink/toner or shades of grey.
For you frugal folks out there who use Excel, there is a remedy for this problem.
Follow the steps below to learn how:
- On the File tab of your Ribbon, click Print | Page Setup to open the dialog.
- On the Sheet tab, select the Black and White option.
There is also another method you can use to open your Page Setup dialog, which is on the Page Layout tab of your Ribbon, click Print Titles.
